The sixth graders that displayed positive behaviors throughout 3rd quarter have earned a day in the sun! Students enjoyed soccer, hula-hooping, tug-o-war, dancing and kickball and frisbees. |

On January 6th 2012 Parkside held its 13th annual Geography Bee. Twelve finalists competed in front of the entire school; in a close finish Patrick Lee took first place honors. |

| 5th Grade Winter and Choir Orchestra Concert | December |
Parkside's 5th grade Choir & Orchestra performed at the Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, December 13th, 2011. This was the first time that these students had performed as a full group at the PAC, and their performance was very well-received by the audience. |
