This site will provide you with information regarding our PTA unit, volunteer opportunities, school events, PTA fundraising and much more. You will find that Parkside PTA is an energetic group of parents and staff that volunteer their time to provide educational and fun activities for our students. Becoming involved in Parkside PTA is an excellent way to meet other parents who share a common goal – helping their children receive the most of their intermediate school experience. Parent involvement can involve everything from baking cookies to assisting with research projects and much more. I’m sure you will be able to find the activities that fit your schedule. Browse Volunteer Opportunities to review the many volunteer opportunities available this school year. As a PTA unit we understand that some parents/guardians are not afforded the chance to volunteer at their child’s school, but you can still be a PTA member to show your support.
If you have not become a member of Parkside PTA yet it’s not too late! Print Membership Form and send your membership form to school with your child. Parents, students, grandparents and neighbors are encouraged to join PTA. Joining PTA is the best way to say, “I am committed to supporting my child’s school.” Parkside PTA meetings are generally held the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the school library.
